Vehicle Overview
Thanks to terrific chassis balance, sharp steering, and a low center of gravity, the BRZ is a blast to drive despite a lack of horsepower. The 200-hp 2.0-liter flat-four engine is mated to either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. We prefer the manual for obvious reasons. A few more ponies would help, the exhaust note contradicts its sporting nature, and trunk space is limited, but those niggles don’t stop us from digging the BRZ for the purity of its mission.
